Notice is hereby given that Sealed bids the following project, will be received by the Board of Supervisors of Lafayette County, Mississippi in the Boardroom of the Lafayette County Chancery Building, Oxford, Mississippi, until 10:00 a.m., April 12, 2024 and shortly thereafter they will be publicly opened and recorded for the following project:

Official bid documents are on file in the Office of the County Administrator of Lafayette County, and may be obtained at www.lafayettemsbids.com.  Electronic files are also available for download to registered users.

If printed copies are required by bidder(s), the actual cost of printing, shipping and a $25 handling charge will be required from bidder before sending. Bid preparation will be in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders bound in the Project Manual.

Bids shall be submitted on the Bid Form published in the Contract Documents.

Bid envelope must contain on the outside of the envelope, the Contractor’s current Certificate of Responsibility Number and the Contractor’s License Number unless a statement on the exterior says the bid enclosed is less than or does not exceed $75,000.00.  Envelope containing bids must be sealed, marked and addressed with the Project Name as shown above. Bids should be submitted to the Chancery Clerk at 300 N Lamar Blvd, Oxford, MS, or may be submitted electronically at www.lafayettemsbids.com.  For any questions relating to the electronic bidding process, please call Plan House at (662) 407-0193. 

A Pre-Bid meeting including the prospective bidder’s ONLY opportunity to visit the site is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2024. Attendance is not mandatory to submit a bid but lack of information that otherwise would have been available from having made a site inspection will not be reason for change requests for the successful bidder.
