INVITATION TO BID

1. DESCRIPTION
This Project is for the New Pocket Park Pavilion and Stage for the Saltillo Main Street Association, at 107 Cedar Ave, Saltillo, Mississippi. The work will consist of Construction of a new wood framed pavilion on concrete slab, with wood trusses and metal roof. Metal Roof is to be donated by Phoenix Metals. The Stage area will be a concrete slab with brick pavers, supplied from a fundraising program, with a raised stage and wood framed canopy. A brick retaining wall will be constructed on the East and South sides. A vendor drive will be done with gravel base.

2. PRE – BID CONFERENCE
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the site to provide onsite inspection and review of the intended work program. (This will be by Addendum No. 1)

3. RECEIPT AND OPENING OF BID
Sealed bids for this Project will be received at the Office of 395 East Mobile Street, Attn: Deanna Knight, Director, Saltillo, Mississippi 38866, until 2:00 PM on Tuesday, Mar 12th, 2024 at which time the Bids will be publicly opened and read in the Board Room. Bids will need to be hand delivered to this address. USPS will not deliver. Online Bids will be accepted, as well.

4. BID ENVELOPE
Bid envelope must contain on the outside of the envelope, the Contractor’s current Certificate of Responsibility Number and the Contractor’s License Number. Envelope containing bids must be sealed, marked, and addressed as follows:

5. ONLINE BIDDING
Plans and specifications are being made available via original paper copy and electronically. Plan Holders are required to register and order bid documents at www.cityofsaltillomsbids.com. Questions regarding website registration and online orders please contact Plan House at 662-407-0193. Bid documents are non-refundable and must be purchased through the website. Proposals shall be submitted on the Bid Form provided with the specifications. Bids may be submitted in person or, for those interested, bids can be electronically submitted at www.cityofsaltillomsbids.com under the project name. No oral, telegraphic, telephonic, or e-mail proposals will be considered.
