Separate Sealed Bids for the Purchase of Materials and Supplies for an automatic meter reading (AMR) system in Raleigh, MS will be

received by Town of Raleigh herein called the “Owner” at the office of City Hall, 150 Main Street, Raleigh, MS 39153 or electronic bids

submitted via www.heflinengineeringbids.com until 10:00 AM local time on November 17, 2023, and then at said office publicly

opened and read aloud.

Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check or cashier’s check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be

furnished by each Bidder as required by the Contract Documents.

Minority and women’s business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make

inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material and/or supply needs.

Any contract or contracts awarded under this invitation for bids are expected to be funded in whole or in part by anticipated funds from

the Mississippi Municipal and County Water Infrastructure (MCWI) grant program. Neither the State of Mississippi, the Mississippi Dept

of Environmental Quality (MDEQ), nor any of their employees is or will be a party to this invitation for bids or any resulting or related

contracts. This procurement will be subject to all applicable sections of the Mississippi Code of 1972, Annotated, as they apply to local

governments, in accordance with MCWI Program Regulations.
