Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Washington County Courthouse, 900 Washington Avenue, Room 2, Greenville, MS, 38701, ATTN: Marilyn Hansell, or electronic bids submitted via www.heflinengineeringbids.com until Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at 10:00 am local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Project includes a new pressure tank and generator for Winterville Water Association’s system in Washington County. The Project has an expected duration of 730 days. Copies of the Plans, Specifications, and other Bidding documents are available for download or in hard copy format from www.heflinengineeringbids.com. Documents must be obtained from the website and such costs are non-refundable. For questions related to the online bidding process, please contact Plan House Bidding Group (662-407-0193). A copy of the plans and specifications may be examined at the office of the Engineer, Heflin Engineering, 1700 W Government St, Building A, Suite J, Brandon, MS 39042. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check, or cashier’s check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be furnished by each Bidder as required by the Contract Documents. Washington County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive any and all informalities, and reserves the right to hold all Bids for examination for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days and to award Contract to the lowest and best Bid complying with the Plans and Specifications within said time. Funding for the project is through a Mississippi Municipal and County Water Infrastructure (MCWI) Grant. Contractor shall conform to the grant requirement.
