SEALED BIDS FOR SALE OF SURPLUS SUBSTATION POWER TRANSFORMER will be received

by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Macon at City Hall in Macon, Mississippi until 5:00

p.m. local time on June 6, 2023, and immediately thereafter will be publicly opened and read.

SUBMITTAL OF SEALED BIDS: Each bid must be submitted in accordance with the instructions to

bidders which are bound in the Project Manual. The OWNER reserves the right to waive irregularities and

to reject any or all bids.

SUBMITTAL OF ELECTRONIC BIDS: Electronic bids can be submitted at atwellandgentprojects.com.

5658. Each electronically submitted bid must be submitted in “pdf” format and shall contain the same

information and forms as required for the paper bids. In the event that an electronically submitted bid has a

corrupted attachment, the bid will be considered null and void.

The Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Macon, Mississippi expressly reserve the right to reject

any or all bids submitted and to waive any informalities or technicalities therein.

No bidder may withdraw a bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the date set for the opening of bids.
