SEALED proposals will be received by the TOWN OF MIZE at the office of the Engineer, Heflin Engineering, 1700 West Government Street Building “A” Suite “J”, Brandon, MS 39042 or electronic bids submitted via www.heflinengineeringbids.com until 10:00__AM, local time, June 16, 2023 at which time and place, the Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened.

The work shall consist of the rehabilitation and replacement of sanitary sewers, including the construction of approximately 1,600 linear feet of gravity sewer.

Copies of the Plans, Specifications, and other Bidding Documents are available for download or in hard copy format from www.heflinengineeringbids.com or for public viewing at the office of the Engineer, Heflin Engineering, LLC, 1700 West Government Street, Building "A", Suite "J", Brandon, Mississippi, 601-824-7569. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check or cashier's check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be furnished by each Bidder as required by the Contract Documents.

Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities, equipment, material and/or supply needs.
