5.01 BID NOTICE TO POTENTIAL BIDDERS

A. Sealed Bids will be received by AERC, PLLC on behalf of City of Horn Lake, MS for

Interior Renovations and associated work located at the above address before 1:00

pm local daylight time on the 20th day of June, 2023. Bids should be addressed to:

1. City of Horn Lake, 3101 Goodman Road West, Horn Lake, MS 38637.

B. Only Electronic Bids will be received until 1:00 PM , on the 20th day of June, 2023, via

electronic online bid submission through www.aercplanroom.com.

C. PROCUREMENT OF PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND CONTRACT DOCUMENTS shall be

obtained as follows;

1. Paper or electronic copies may be purchased online from

www.aercplanroom.com. Paper or electronic copies of Contract Bid Documents,

including Plans and Specifications, are issued to potential Bidders from:

2. Registering for a free account at www.aercplanroom.com will enable bidders to

view and/or purchase Contract Bid Documents.

3. Copies of the plans and contract documents may be obtained at Horn Lake City

Hall building from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

D. Bids will be accepted only under the name of the Bidder to whom Contract documents

have been issued by Plan House Printing, on behalf of the Architect, and whose name

appears on the official list of Plan Holders maintained by the Architect on behalf of

City of Horn Lake.

E. Bidders will be required to provide Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond in the

amount of 5% of the Base Bid.

F. Refer to other bidding requirements described in Section 00 2113 - Instructions to

Bidders and Section 00 3100 - Available Project Information.

G. Submit your offer on the Bid Form provided. Bidders may supplement this form as

appropriate, and as allowed by the State of Mississippi Public Bid Laws.

H. our offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a

period of 30 (thirty) calendar days after submission.

I. The Bid will be awarded to the lowest responsive responsible and best qualified

bidder. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities, the right to reject one

or all bids and the option to postpone action and final decision for a period of up to 30

(thirty) calendar days.

J. All bids submitted in excess of $50,000 by a prime or subcontractor to do any

erection, building, construction, repair, maintenance or related work must comply

with the Mississippi Contractors Act of 1985 by securing a Certificate of Responsibility

from the State Board of Contractors. The Prime Bidder's Certificate Number must be

placed on the outside of the sealed envelope or the bid will not be opened.

Subcontractors requiring a Certificate of Responsibility must be listed, including their

Certificate of Responsibility Number, on the Subcontractor List with the Bid.

L. A Pre-Bid conference has been scheduled for 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 8, 2023 on
