2022 City of McComb House Demolition List #11832

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS:

This bid includes, but is not limited to, demolition of 18 houses in the City of McComb, Mississippi. Sealed bids will be received by the City of McComb (Owner) until 10:00 a.m. on the 3rd day of August, 2022 in the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 115 Third Street, McComb, Mississippi 39648 for the project titled 2022 City of McComb House Demolition List. Bids shall be addressed to the attention of the City Clerk.

CONTRACT TIME: 90 Calendar Days BASIS OF AWARD
The award, if made, will be made to the lowest qualified bidder on the basis of published quantities.

The Board of Selectmen hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprise will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.

CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND SPECIFICATIONS are on file at the office of the City of McComb Zoning, Inspections and Permits Department, 122 South Broadway Street, McComb, MS 39648; (601) 249-3054.

Bid documents are being made available via paper or digital copy. Plan holders are required to log-in or register for an account at www.mccomb-msbids.com to view and order Bid Documents. All plan holders are required to have a valid email address for registration. Bid documents are non-refundable and must be purchased through the website. If anyone prefers to submit their bid electronically instead of in a sealed envelope, they can do so through the website. Certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to McComb and the State of Mississippi must accompany each proposal.
Each bidder shall write his Certificate of Responsibility number on the outside of the sealed envelope containing his proposal.
Bidders are hereby notified that any proposal accompanied by letters qualifying in any manner the condition under which the proposal is tendered will be considered an irregular bid and such proposal will not be considered in making the award.
