Sealed Bids will be received by the Board of Trustees of Harrison County Schools, 11072 Highway 49, Gulfport, MS 39503 in the board room until 2:00 p.m., March 5, 2020, for:
Harrison County School District
D’Iberville K-8 New Elementary/Middle School Building Package And Kitchen Equipment Packages
at which time they will be publicly opened and read.
Plans and specifications are being made available via Digital copy only. Hard copies can be purchased by bidders at their own expense. Plan Holders are required to register and order bid documents at www.mhardyarchitect.com. The cost per digital copy of documents is $250.00 each and is non-refundable and must be purchased through the website.

A charge of $450.00 shall be made for each additional hard copy set. Local Plan Room will be issued one (1) set free of charge. No partial sets of drawings of project manuals will be issued.
Proposal shall be submitted on Bid Forms provided with the specifications. Bids may be submitted in person or, for those interested, bids can be electronically submitted at www.mhardyarchitect.com under the project name. No oral, telegraphic, telephonic, or e-mail proposals will be considered. The current Certificate of Responsibility Number of the bidder shall appear on the outside of each sealed envelope containing a proposal, said envelope being plainly marked “PROPOSAL FOR – D’Iberville K-8 New Elementary/Middle School Building Package and Kitchen Equipment Package”
Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond/security deposit or certified check in an amount equal to 5% of the bid, payable to the Harrison County School District as bid security.
A Payment and Performance Bond and Builders Risk Insurance in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price shall be required of the successful bidder.
The Contract will be awarded to the lowest, best and acceptable bidder, except that Harrison County School District reserves the right to waive any informality in the bidding and to reject any and all bids.
A Pre-Bid Meeting has been set for February 13, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Harrison County School District Board Room at 11072 Highway 49, Gulfport, MS 39503.
