NOTICE is hereby given that the City Clerk of the City of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, will receive sealed bids until 10:00 A.M. on July 28th , 2022 in City Council Chambers at City Hall, 200 Forrest Street, Hattiesburg, MS 39401, and then at said location will open and read aloud bids received for furnishing the City’s requirements for the following:

WATER PLANT #1 REHABILITATION PHASE 2

All bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to 5% of the amount of the bid, in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check or a bid bond written by a company properly licensed in Mississippi.

This contract is funded in whole or in part by funds from the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 214 (H.R. 3547); therefore, this project must comply with the American Iron and Steel requirements of the Act.

Any contract or contracts awarded under this invitation for bids are expected to be funded in whole or in part by anticipated funds from the Drinking Water System Improvements Revolving Loan Fund (DWSIRLF) Loan Program from the State of Mississippi. Neither the State of Mississippi, the Local Governments and Rural Water System Improvements Board, not any of their employees is or will be a party to this invitation for bids or any resulting or related contracts. This procurement will be subject to all applicable sections of the Mississippi Code of 1972, Annotated, as they apply to local governments, in accordance with Appendix D of the DWSIRLF Program Regulations.
